Report A Sighting

Please fill in all of the fields below to report your minke whale sighting(s) from anywhere in the world.

We are particularly keen on hearing about sightings of dwarf minke whales (see species identification page). If you have photos available of the whale(s), we would greatly appreciate a copy for our sightings database. Images that show the whales’ colouration patterns or any distinctive features (e.g. scars) can potentially be used to identify individual whales.

**Note that swimming-with-whales endorsed operators in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park are required to use the Whale Sighting Sheet (providing additional information to those fields below) for reporting their minke whale encounters**
